This course is for people who have been learning English for one or two years. After completing this course, the learner will be able to communicate on a basic level, including a simple and direct exchange of information and describing events. The learner will be able to read and write short texts and know some basic vocabulary in the following topics: family, jobs, holidays, shopping, travelling, and describing a person. Learners will also be able to understand and use familiar expressions and basic phrases concerning everyday life. Learners will be able to introduce themselves and other people and ask them questions about their private life, such as where they live, people they know and things they own. A simple conversation will also be possible, provided that the other person talks slowly and clearly, and is ready to help.

2026/2027 GROUPS:
This is a course for people who can communicate at an A2 Key level but still should expand their vocabulary, develop their grammar knowledge and improve their speaking fluency. Upon completing this course, a learner will be able to communicate in various social situations, in restaurants, shops, and on the phone. They will also be able to write letters and essays presenting opinions and describing people and places. Learners of this course are able to use a variety of grammatical structures and vocabulary. They understand common idioms and frequently used expressions related to everyday life (e.g. basic information about another person and their family, shopping, environment, work). They are able to communicate in simple, routine situations, requiring only a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and common topics. They are also able to easily describe their heritage and surroundings and discuss issues related to the most substantial needs of everyday life.

2026/2027 GROUPS:
This is a general non-exam course for people who have not yet achieved the level needed for passing the Cambridge English B2 First exam. After completing this course, a person can describe pictures, make longer statements, tell stories and discuss with others. Learners participating in this course read long texts and write formal and informal letters and essays presenting opinions, descriptions of events and more. They are able to understand the sense of the main points of clear standard statements that relate to familiar matters and situations regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. They are also able to deal with most circumstances likely to arise while travelling to English-speaking regions. They can create simple connected texts on familiar topics or those of personal interest. They are able to describe experiences, events, dreams, hopes and aspirations, briefly justifying or explaining opinions and plans.

This is a course for people whose vocabulary and grammar are at a solid Upper-Intermediate level. This course helps develop general English language skills and prepares participants for the B2 First exam. A learner at this level understands the meaning of the main subjects of complex texts on factual and abstract topics, as well as discussions on technical matters within their field of specialisation. They are able to interact fluently and spontaneously enough to have a regular conversation with a native speaker of English without causing stress on either side. They can make clear oral and written statements on a wide range of subjects and explain their views on the issues under debate, considering the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
The course includes a mock exam to assess the likelihood of passing the B2 First exam. Candidates registered for the exam will take two individual mock oral exams.

Participants are able to communicate fluently and spontaneously, expressing clear statements on a wide range of topics, explaining their position on the issues under discussion, and are able to consider the advantages and disadvantages of different solutions. They can deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling to English-speaking countries, communicating freely with a native English speaker, both on familiar and abstract topics.

This course is intended for people who are fluent in English and want to get closer to the level of ‘native speakers’. The participant must have a very good level of knowledge of the language in terms of all skills. The course requires a lot of personal work and prepares learners directly for the Proficiency exam.
An English user at this level can easily understand virtually anything heard or read. The user at this level can consistently summarise information from other written or spoken sources and reproduce theses and explanations. Speakers at this level can express their thoughts fluently, spontaneously and precisely, subtly differentiating between meanings even in more complex statements.
The course includes a mock exam to assess the likelihood of passing the C2 Proficiency exam. Candidates registered for the exam will take two individual mock oral exams.

This is a course for doctoral students and academicians. It aims to familiarise learners with the language register used in the academic environment. This course will enable learners to participate more fully in the international research community and to share their findings both orally and in writing.
During the course, the participants will learn the vocabulary characteristic of higher education and career development paths of researchers, how to write scientific texts (conference presentations, abstracts, scholarly articles, conference announcements, reviews, etc.) and to prepare presentations adhering to the requirements of academic register.
In addition, learners will learn how to complete various types of applications and forms as well as write references.
